Day Off

Things have been hectic recently so it was so good to have a day off and chill. There was a bus into the local town, Huntsville for all the internationals. Pretty cool small town, has a load of decent shops and a little lake/pier thing.

First thing we did was hit the laundrette and I did my first ever load of washing. Yes shameful I know, and that's after 4 years of university; Mum you looked after me well!

Dropped off the clothes and hit up this ice-cream place that sold all this British stuff. They even had a t-shirt that said "Real Men Watch Coronation Street." Crazy.

Bought a hacky sack from another shop and then just chilled outside the laundry place while we waited on the clothes. We were all pretty terrible at hacky, need to get the California guys to show us the way.

Chilled on the lakeside for the rest of the day and soaked up the sun. Stopped at wall-mart on the way home for some supplies and a sneaky McDonald's.

When we got back to camp I ended up cutting Taylor's hair which was a definite mistake. I think it's safe to say my talents lie elsewhere.
