This stuff is a big part of my life right now. Because there are 300 staff and 600 kids who live on camp, if someone gets sick, EVERYONE gets sick. Manorapid is dished out like crazy, no eating without it!
There is a little town nearby called Huntsville which has a little 3 screen cinema we go to on our nights off. We went to see Harry Potter one night, but I haven't seen any of them before so it was a waste of time!
They always do loads of competitions around camp and I won all this stuff the very first week. There was a game of human bingo and I won about $150 worth of stuff from the tuck shop, SCORE!
Funny story about this photo. A couple of minutes after it was taken a seagull started walking towards our group. I tried to shoo it away but it kept walking. My hacky-sack was beside us on the grass and Colm picked it up and tossed it at the bird. He missed and the bird just looked at us and then picked up the hacky in it's beak! He then flew off, I chased him and then he dropped the sack in the middle of a nearby lake! THAT'S WHY I DON'T LIKE BIRDS!
Some minor toe surgery. I'm guess I'm not used to wearing flip-flops all the time and my feet just get torn up!
One night we went into town and everyone decided to get piercings. Ear, noise, eyebrow, but don't worry Mum & Dad, I politely declined!
Some friends of mine run a sports show in the radio shack at lunchtimes and I sometimes stick around and host the show for them. American football, basketball, baseball and hockey, so nothing I know much about, but I make sure there is some proper football and rugby news the odd time! Great fun.
